What in the world is going on?

It seems that almost every area of this world is under strain. Ecologically, financially, materially, all seem to be standing on very shaky ground.

But it's not just the physical things that are breaking down . . . Relationships, justice systems and morals are taking a beating. Then there's global issues . . . wars, terrorism and national unrest.

Should we be alarmed? On one hand yes. These are difficult days and we should be concerned, for the future would appear to be very challenging to say the least. But on the other hand we have been warned that difficult times lay ahead.

The Bible says that in the last days of this age people would be lovers of themselves, abusive, brutal and unholy. Jesus said that nations will rise against each other and there would be famines and earthquakes. He also said that the sun will be darkened and the heavens will shake!

But Jesus also said that those who know and love him he would take care of, both in this world and the next.

Where do you stand in regard to the future? Have you a hope? A peace?

Jesus said come to me and I will give you peace.
